Clap and tap gospel, Dineo tsa Tumelo, group soars

Dineo tsa Tumelo gospel choir clap and tap group has been working around the clock to produce their first album. Their dream has finally come true as the choir recently released their debut album titled O nnile wa mbapalla, which boasts 14 other songs. The album also features the popular hit songs song Ya o pate dillo, as well as He ba nyorilweng, Re phelela morena and Batlhanka ba botshephegiare. Recorded at Arts Translated multimedia and Indoni production studios in South Africa, the album is said to be a feat great clap and tap music. Formed in 2012 by two cousins, the choir has over the years grown in leaps and bounds, through passion, dedication and hard work. Current choir conductor, Gorata Legoale, told Vibe that the choir is currently has sixty members. “All these members from different musical backgrounds and churches. But when they come together they create magic,” she said. Legoale added that they were doing well because although the members are from different denominations, they are all willing to make music that speaks to the heart. “We are all committed to spiritual elevation and upliftment through song, so we always find a way to make things work.”
