The suspects in a case in which a 24-year-old woman was gang-raped in front of her 34-year-old boyfriend during a robbery incident in Kanye in Sebako ward, are still at large.According to Kanye Police Station commander, Vincent Pitseetsile Police have not arrested anyone yet and investigations are ongoing.Details of the incident are that the woman was visiting her boyfriend from Lotlhakane East. While the couple was sleeping, four armed men broke the door to gain access.The couple reported that the suspects made away with valuables amounting to more than P50 000. The valuables included three smartphones, one of which cost P11 500, another P4 000, Iphone 13 proxy worth P23 000 and a laptop worth P12 000.After getting the phones and laptop, the robbers tied the couple up and drove away with them."We received a report that the suspects drove to Molapowabojang and Mmathethe with the couple before returning to Kanye," Pitseetsile said.The couple was also forced to withdraw an undisclosed amount of money from an ATM. The suspects fled the scene after two of them allegedly raped the woman in front of the boyfriend.
