Vusi leaves audience begging for more

Gospel sensation Vusi put on a brilliant performance for his live DVD shooting at the Stanbic Molapo Piazza this past weekend.

Braveheart put together the lighting, sound and visuals of the show, and from the crispy clear sound to the lighting and the creative stage set-up, there was no doubt that thought went into the whole show.

The band members, from the drummers to the back-up singers, took to the stage and had a chance to showcase their skills. The man of the moment finally sauntered onto the stage dressed in a royal blue suit with shiny shoes, singing the song, O incwele.

Vusi also took the audience 11 years back to when he released the song Sa rialo sone sefofu and the crowd sang along. The song Atlolola seatla sa gago received an overwhelming response. “Three and a half years ago when I felt my joy was taken away I wrote this song because I wanted it back but I didn’t know how to pray so God told me that since I couldn’t say anything I could write a song,” he said before belting out in tune.

The message of asking God to intervene during challenges resonated with many people who screamed and cheered along.  Vusi also sang old hymns like Se teng sediba and Ha le mpotsa tshepo yaaka. By the end of the night many revellers were satisfied that they got their money’s worth.
