Tlamelo Malebe ends 2017 on a high note

Upcoming rapper Tlamelo Malebe has had a splendid 2017. He has released a mixtape titled Watching Success, which sold relatively well across the country. Two banging singles, The daeyz and Basco, which enjoyed airplay on local radio stations, accompanied the mixtape. The Ramotswa-born lad also won big at the Ramotswa Youth awards, walking away with the Best Upcoming Artist of the year gong. This set of attainments has not just opened doors for Malebe but opportunities are also knocking at his door. “I think I am getting tons of recognition, a number of established artists have approached me, I cannot mention names but look out for massive collaborations in the coming year because we have struck big deals,” he said. Malebe said that he has had unlimited bookings since the release of his debut mixtape Watching Success. “Bookings are coming in handy and I can’t deny I am enjoying the fruits of my hard work, it’s always amazing to perform in front of a stupendous crowd, it’s what every artist strive for and I am proud it came this early in my career,” said the 23-year-old artist. Malebe is set to release a single titled Go tlaa siama earlier next year, the video will be accompanied by the video “We have already shot the video and it’s just a matter of time until the team decides on the release date, we don’t want to keep everyone waiting but the video will be out earlier next year.”
