Stunning Mosetsanagape is our top model

Top Model Worldwide is one of the leading international professional model search competitions, with a proven history of discovering new model talent and creating dreams.

This year, Mosetsanagape Setlhare, 22, has qualified to represent Botswana in the UK. Mosetsanagape says that her ambition is to use this opportunity and put Botswana on the map and walk in the footsteps of famous model - Kaone Kario.

The model agency needs £195 or P3500.00 for her to participate in the competition. The young lady is not new in the modelling industry. She has previously won the 2015 Airport Junction Mall Fashion Model of the Year and also featured in the SKY girls’ magazine. Her modelling career started back in 2014 when she failed several times but never gave up.

Although an Accountancy graduate, she believes that she was born to model. “Modelling is more of a passion than an inspiration for me and I have actually never sacrificed my time for something like I am doing with modelling.” Asked how she maintains her lovely slim body, she noted that she goes on a diet once in a while and goes for walks most of the time as well as hiking the Tlokweng Hill.

She says her rickety legs also inspires her a lot as they just make her look like an outstanding model as her colleagues always tell her. She believes that this is not only an opportunity for her but the country as she will showcase Botswana culture while in the UK.

During her spare time, she listens to music and is always glued to Fashion TV for more tips. Mosetsanagape has also taken part in the 2014 Designer auditions, dressed by Judark Kuvan, Fashion show titled Little Black Dress and last but not least 2015 Little Black Dress Vs Black Little Dress, to mention a few.

The competition in the UK will take place in April, and it will result in a one-year contract in which the main responsibility will be surrounded by charity work there. The competition will be held at the stunning Hilton London Metropole.

The Maun born and bred Mosetsanagape lives by the slogan, ‘Never give up, no matter how many times you fall’. She is appealing to the general public to help her raise Botswana’s flag internationally.
