Seakane improve lives through physical training
Tshenolo Seakane is a fairly dedicated young man who is fashioning his own legacy through the Amenzone tyre movement with a mandate of motivating inspiring and training people from schools to the entire community of Letlhakane where he was born and raised. Through his well-decorated and arranged fitness program, Seakane has managed to bring together the community of Letlhakane for training sessions at Letlhakane Bus Rank.
The public is trained for free weekdays at Letlhakane Bus rank open space from 17:30 to 18:00. Seakane recently told Vibe that he had to drive a hard bargain to convince the founder of the Amenzone movement, the CEO of Amenzone Fitness and Amenzone Foundation, Amen Iseghohi who is also the author of Tyre Boy book. “I have had a series of conversation with him through social media platforms, emails and even calls bidding to start the movement here, he then gave me a go ahead, and crowned me as the Southern African Ambassador of the movement,” he said.
Seakane further said that their main aim is to restraint young children from suffering from obesity. “We accept in kids from different backgrounds, we support and inspire them through their academics, we discuss relevant issues and we try as much as possible to make sure that they share the same smile so that they live equally amongst the community,” he said. The seniors are however not left behind as they have their own training program, which encourages self-care through motivations and fitness coaching. “We use physical tyre training as a tool to prepare for challenges in life, we have adopted the tagline ‘True Healthcare is Self-care’ which basically translates to that my health is my responsibility.”
The 23-year-old has been invited to be part of the Live to Inspire documentary in South Africa. The documentary is meant to inspire African youth through fashion and education and the realisation of dramas through hard work and dedication. The documentary will mainly focus on people inspiring each other in the community. Amenzone will also host a public speaking competition to encourage self-care amongst the youth of Botswana. “We are currently searching for sponsors countrywide for the competition, the winner will travel to Canada to attend sessions at the Amen Academy.”
