New venue for Homecoming bash guarantees security
Revellers at the Homecoming bash will be guaranteed safety as they party their way into Christmas day during the concert billed for Matswelo Hotel in Mahalapye.
The change of venue from Railway Stadium to Matswelo hotel was made by Monate Fela Entertainment to minimize the incidence of crime and reduce traffic congestion, said event organiser Bannye Eazy B Sesupo in an interview. He said that the hotel has more space as well as secure parking and easy monitoring of attendants.
“We intend to have a safe Christmas Eve and revellers should come in numbers assured of high quality music because our lineup is rich and caters for all,” said Sesupo. The artists are expected to arrive at Matswelo hotel before the event.
The award winning South African rapper Cassper Nyovest confirmed his presence. The Mama I made It artist will be performing from 10pm to 11pm on the night. Schedules for all artists who will perform at the concert are ready and they are just waiting for the big day.
Other music giants from South Africa billed for the show include Naaq Musiq, Trademark, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Merlon and Mondli Ngcobo. Local performers include DJ Kuchi, Ricky Lamar, La Timmy, NT Base, Team Distant, DJ Brown, Kellz, DJ Scratch, Teddy Roots and Eazy B.
The Homecoming merchandise is available at Railpark Mall it includes T-shirts, caps and new additions - cups. VIP tickets are sold at P500 and include drinks, food and parking space while standard tickets cost P100 and gate pass is P200.
