Motlha releases soothing single Mma Motse

Local Afro Jazz and R&B singer Motlha Mompe recently released a single titled Mma Motse. He wrote the song, recorded at the Roc Lefatshe Records. The smooth jam narrates how a woman can be a pillar one can against even in the toughest of all moments.

The talented artiste known to serenade his fans with high quality and professional performances believes his latest single will satisfy his audience. Motlha says that his great and creative lyricism continues to give him a platform and exposure even after having captured the My Star competition crown in 2015. “I had a chance to tour the United Kingdom in 2015 after winning MyStar and I had the opportunity to perform at the London Carnival after recording a trio with other runners up and the experience has allowed me to be the artist that I am and is trying to sell to Batswana through the Mma Motse single,” he says. He further says that the single is by far the best product he has shared with his supporters because it was done under a more guided atmosphere and also because he too has developed as a vocalist.

Motlha added that his hard work will be witnessed in the single because all the experiences he has bagged through the year by working alongside local music pundits like Charmagirl, Franco,ATI and Vee are put to work in the single. “I composed the song myself and I am broadening my song writing skills and I must admit I am on the right track because I recently wrote Slizer‘s 12 tracked album titled ‘Ga kena molato’ so I must say I am proud,” he says.

Motlha also says that he makes music that he knows Batswana will relate to. “I intend to reach out to more Batswana through single because I have more projects coming up, including my own music brand to be launched in April.” For his part Motlha’s producer Suffocate, says that everyone should look out for the Mma Motse single because it is a beautiful rendition. “I am not surprised that the song is fantastic because Motlha has a winner attitude and is always willing to learn and work hard,” he says.
