Doba makes hearts melt with her glorious voice

Her glorious voice cannot go unnoticed and she stunned masses of people over the Easter holidays at Compass International Assembly Church as she performed alongside Vusi Mtokufa. The 25 year-old Omaatla Lubinda better known as Doba in music circles has been in the gospel music industry for almost a decade now, and her angelic voice continues to set her apart. While ministering over the Easter Holiday, she mesmerised the audience when she did the medley of ‘the blood shall never lose its power. The lead singer also a Soprano voice artiste left everyone with that touch that reminded them what really Easter Holiday meant through her singing.  She deems Easter Holiday as “a time of remembrance and reflection of where we come from as a church. Being born of the death of Christ and also a time to celebrate the finished work of the cross”.

She further said that Easter Holiday should be a constant reminder of the importance and significance of the death of Christ in Christian life which should give everyone courage to praise God in song.  Doba’s energy says it all that she is a member of the renowned We Must Praise (WMP) choir. She has also had an opportunity to work with Joel Keitumele and Tshepo Lesole. At the moment, she is working on her solo project, which is still in the writing and composition stage.
