BEHIND THE SCENES

Afro Pop artist Skavenja always leaves audiences begging for more when he takes to the stage. He is undoubtedly talented and, he has what it takes to give many artists a run for their money. He has grown and matured, showing that his experience in music can help boost his profile. His latest hit single Monyopi has really set tongues wagging and is in the run up for Song of the year in the annual Botswana Music Union awards. Skavenja is not known for his soothing music only but also his edgy fashion style and well choreographed dance moves. We recently caught up with him and asked him a few stuff we were curious to know:

If you were not in the music industry, what would you be doing? 

*I would probably be a fashion designer.

What is the first thing that you do when you wake up?

*I kneel down and pay respect to my God through prayer. 

Describe your first kiss… 

*I can’t remember. 

Describe your ideal woman… 

*She should be clean, obedient, humble and God fearing. I also like thick women

If you were invisible for a day, what would you do?

*I would go to the Office of the President and whisper in his ears and ask him to take the nightlife hours back to how they were before.

What kind of music do you enjoy? 

*I listen to Afro Soul, Gospel and jazz.

Is there a lucky woman in your life
