Moswaane faces toughest challenge

Francistown West Member of Parliament Ignatius Moswaane will face probably one of his toughest Botswana Democratic Party primary election challenges of his political career as he has five parliamentary candidates to contend with. Moswaane is so far the most politically experienced candidate having been a councillor at Monarch South before he became a Parliamentary candidate following the death of the then area MP Tshelang Masisi. He has also been a Mayor of Francistown City something which adds cream on his credentials to defend his position. This Saturday, he will come head on with former Monarch North BDP councillor Raoboy Mpuang, Tebogo Toteng who was born and bred in the constituency, Kanana ward councillor Cornelius Gopolang, Gregory Kealotswe and Kago Phofuetsile. Moswaane could eventually win because of vote splitting caused by other candidates.
