The 2023 Sports Expo is on the horizon, as the local company, Perspective Magazine is planning the next edition of the event. Scheduled for May 13th, the event is expected to attract one hundred exhibitors, showcasing their respective areas of speciality in over thirty-five different sporting codes.
According to one of the organizers, Mpho Mooka, the event is expected to provide an opportunity to link sportsmen, community, government, local business and not-for-profit organizations.
The purpose of the event is to present an opportunity for the community, sporting leaders, sportsmen and women, and leaders of the industry to be educated, informed, inspired, and ignited, and for them to interact with a vast array of sportsmen and financial, educational, fitness, beauty and wellbeing institutions through exhibitions, speeches and presentations.
The core mandate of the 2022 Sport Expo is to create an atmosphere of engagement for those involved in sport, and to bring top socialites and international prominent business figures to share their experiences in sports business, sports administration and sports sponsorship, as well as to showcase skills transfer to the target market.
The Sport Expo will comprise of participants from segments such as sports goods, sports apparel, fitness equipment and gear, sports education, adventure sports as well as sports nutrition. Furthermore, there will be exclusive demonstrations through sports clinics and other activities, mostly relating to training equipment and services.
Perspective Sports Magazine, driven by their exposure, experience, and enthusiasm in sport, are organizing a prestigious exhibition and sales fair of complete portfolio, showcasing sporting apparel, events and related services.
The company hosted its first Sports Expo in 2016 as a trial run, and to reinforce their resolve, the organizers have assembled a strong team of individuals with experience in sport, marketing, and event management, with a deep understanding of Botswana, regional, continental and world sports structures.
