The South African soccer player, 24 hear old Thembelani Majingo’s love for grass root football has spurred him to bring his foundation to Botswana.

Majingo is Holy Ghost’s latest signing and he has set his eyes on impacting the local footballing scene even outside of the football pitch as he believes that the most important years of a player are when they are developing at a young age.

His foundation started in 2020 because the year marked his 10th year away from his home village of Madibogo in South Africa as he was away chasing his football dreams.

Through giving out soccer playing kits, cones, balls, beeps and other soccer equipment’s to teams of youngsters, Majingo has been able to contribute to every place where his footballing career takes him.

He wants to add to the local football industry by helping provide soccer equipment and facilitating tournaments where youngsters can be identified and be scouted by other soccer teams.

He explains that he started the NGO because he wanted to give back to the community that he was raised in.
