Gaborone United has recently acquired the services of 23 year old talented goalkeeper, Thabo Motswagole from Masitaoka. The young shot-stopper has been signed to replace the long-serving, Goitseone Phoko, who has been a stalwart in the team for many years. The Gaborone United Communications Manager expressed confidence in Motswagole's abilities while acknowledging the pressure of filling Phoko's shoes.

"Thabo Motswagole is a very good goalkeeper, but we are not going to put him under any pressure to directly replace Goitseone Phoko," stated the Communications Manager. "Motswagole has already proven himself as a seasoned goalkeeper, having represented the national team at COSAFA. We have full confidence in his abilities."

During the preseason and training sessions, Motswagole has seamlessly integrated into the Gaborone United squad, showcasing his skills and adaptability. The club recognizes the importance of signing such a young and promising goalkeeper, foreseeing many years of excellent performances and valuable experience gained while playing for the team.

"With Motswagole's arrival, we have addressed the void left by Phoko's departure," the Communications Manager emphasized. "We are excited to witness his growth and development as a player. As a big club, we have high expectations for him."

Motswagole's dream of joining Gaborone United has now become a reality, and the team eagerly anticipates his contributions on the field.

The club's supporters can expect a goalkeeper who will maintain his shape and provide a strong presence between the posts.

Despite the departure of Phoko, Gaborone United remains confident that they have not lost much, and will continue to play with flair and determination to win every game they face.
