Gaborone United's decorated midfielder, Mothusi Cooper is linked with the newly promoted DSTV premiership side, Cape Town Spurs Football Club in South Africa, a move allegedly initiated by the club’s Head Coach after he identified him during COSAFA matches.The details of the transfer remain unknown as concerned parties deny having official interactions with the South Africa side.However, according to the source, some Cape Town Spurs FC members met with Gaborone United, and the deal is almost done, and he is expected to start next season in South Africa.GU Communication Officer, Herbert Letsebe said the Club has not received any official offer for Cooper. “We do not know anything at the moment on the matter, we have not received any formal inquiries of the player in particular.
