Khoemacau Copper Mining has announced the 2nd Annual Lake Ngami GM's Cycle Classic, a charity cycling challenge aimed at raising funds to support community development initiatives the villages around the Mine (Sehithwa, Toteng, Komana, Legothwane, Bodibeng, Bothatogo, and Somelo) in the Ngamiland Area. According to a statement, the official theme for this year's event is #cycling4communities. With the event set to welcome 250 cyclists, marking an increase from the inaugural 200 participants, it promises to be an even more significant and impactful.
The Lake Ngami GM's Cycle Classic, scheduled for 22nd October 2023(tomorrow) , will bring together cycling enthusiasts, sponsors, and supporters from near and far, all united in their commitment to making a difference in the lives of communities around Khoemacau Copper Mine. The event will feature a challenging but fun route that showcases the natural beauty of the Ngamiland area while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Meanwhile, the Executive Director of Khoemacau Copper Mining, Boikobo Paya has expressed enthusiasm for hosting the second annual cycling challenge and the positive impact it can bring to the local communities. "We are excited to host the 2nd Annual Lake Ngami GM's Cycle Classic and continue our mission of supporting community activities and development in Ngamiland. This year, we're even more thrilled with the increased participation, as it signifies a growing commitment to the well-being of the communities we serve,” said Paya.
