Retail Giant, Massmart has revamped the Eureka Cash and Carry store in Gaborone to cater to both wholesalers and walk-in customers. The refurbished hybrid store, situated in Broadhurst Industrial, kick-started the store opening with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony which hosted dignitary Hon. Mmusi Kgafela who heads Botswana’s Investment, Trade and Industry.
“We have invested in this development in a plight to add value to communities at large by offering products that allow them to save money through our competitive pricing and time through our wholesale offering to improve their standard of living. We encourage both businesses and locals to visit our hybrid store to really get their value for money through our opening deals’’ comments Massmart’s Regional manager, Tlogelang Gobe.
The flagship retail store boasts a wide range of products, including end-consumer products such as fresh fruit and veg, perishables, appliances, house & home, outdoor, audiovisual and sport to ensure that it’s a one-stop shop for all shopping needs.
“We are now living in an era where diversification in businesses, especially in the trade industry is more important than ever. This new development initiated by Massmart has the potential to significantly boost socio-economic growth within the community and is a way to advance trade relations in Botswana,” says Hon. Mmusi Kgafela.
