Mascom Wireless cemented its role as a leader in Botswana’s digital transformation journey with the hosting of the Mascom Tech Connect Expo 2025 on Thursday, September 11, at the Grand Aria in Gaborone.

Held under the theme ‘Innovation with a Purpose, Limitless Possibilities’, the high-profile event attracted a diverse audience of corporate leaders, SMEs, tech innovators, and media stakeholders, offering a dynamic platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

Officially opening the Expo, Mascom Chief Executive Officer Dzene Mkhwade-Seboni reaffirmed the company’s commitment to purposeful innovation.

The Expo's programme offered a robust exploration of emerging digital trends. Cybersecurity expert David Moepeng addressed the increasing need for digital resilience, highlighting the growing vulnerabilities in today’s hyper-connected economy.

Mascom also unveiled its suite of fintech solutions, showcasing how digital financial services are enhancing access, inclusion, and operational efficiency across sectors.

A thought-provoking panel discussion, themed around the Expo’s central message, brought together leaders from the banking, mining, and technology sectors to discuss the future of inclusive innovation.
