Serowe event is now back with a bang
The 'Serowe My MotherLand' event is underway, and promises nothing but a fun-filled ocassion slated for September 16 and 17 at Serowe Sports Complex.
Director of the event, Rosinah Makgoeng told Vibe that this exceptional event is actually aimed at reviving the independence celebrations hype. "The annual event brings together a variety of local artistes to allow fans to eat from the palms of their hands," she said.
Makgoeng explained that the 48 hours event has definitely catered for most local artists, to give them a platform to share a stage and enthuse fun lovers.
"We have the likes of ATI, Scar, Wizards, Figos, Amantle Brown, Tumza and the big bullets, Jeff Matheatau, Motlha, Spiza, Slizer, DJ Guyvos, DJ Franky Jay, BJB, Monnamogolo wa thulaganyo and many more local entertainers," she said.
Makgoeng expressed appreciation for the support they have received from the attendants over the past few years, and promises that they are back with a bang after a break from the Covid pandemic in 2020.
She further told Vibe that what started off as promoting the heritage of Serowe township hence the 'Serowe my motherland' name, has become many people's favourite entertainment event during the Independence month.
"People have been patiently waiting for the event, and we have been planning silently to give them the best of the best this year. A lot has improved so far, and they should look out to nothing but a lot of entertaining amusement."
