Lekwete Captain, the Mahalapye talented artist will drop his colour full Afro pop album dubbed ‘Pala monwana’ this month end.
Lekwete Captain is a well-known creative music composer and song writer. This 10-track album was recorded at Nice Cut Productions Studios in Gaborone, by Kitso Wiseman Mauchaza and co-producer Orebotse Monei Makgweng. It was also mixed and mastered by Mauchaza. This album is expected to provide jovial mood for the festive season, as well as wedding festivities this season.
Lekwete Captain further told Vibe that he will be hosting first addition of Hands Off Festival, which will be hosted in two countries being Botswana and South Africa. The album is already making headlines in South Africa especially in Mahikeng and Vryburg where he performed two months ago.
Dates for this launch and the venue is expected to be announced after logistics have been sorted out. The music video to the cover song of the album ‘Pala monwana’ will be shot and released in early September. Lekwete Captain also shared that he is already working on his festive plans and has part of his lineup in order. He is expected to be performing in Lesotho in November with his back crew MACTIVATORS BW.
