Kabelo Eric continues to soar as a global music artiste, as he bags one more nomination for the 2024 Re-Up Trailblazer of the Year Award.
This is the second Annual National Re-UP Experience weekend during the Re-UP Awards ceremony, and the event is expected to be held in Atlanta, Georgia in April 5th and 6th 2024. The theme for this year is 'Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop!' The final selection of the Honoree will be announced in October of 2023. The weekend of events will include the Re-UP Brunch and Comedy Show, taking place on Friday, while the Black Carpet, Re-UP Award Show and All White After- Party will take place on Saturday. The experience will feature a host of activities, giveaways, the ability to mix and mingle while embracing talent.
Eric told Vibe that he is humbled by this nomination, and this proves that he is an influential figure in Botswana Gospel Music industry. He is the first motswana to win International Gospel Music award of Best Religious Song in Africa, held in USA, New York courtesy of Museke Online Africa Music Awards in 2011.
He was regarded as an inspirational creative industry leader for 17 years, who has been celebrated both in Botswana and globally with several accolades, awards nominations and recognition.
He is hopeful that following his recent win in the USA for the Best International Male artiste award and the Gospel Music Industry Award Honeree at the Gospep Choice Music Awards, he would also manage to bring the award home for his new nomination.
