Model & activist Seneo Perry spearheads eco-friendly fashion project
Motswana model and environmental activist Seneo Perry is excited about a new fashion project that she is currently working on, that brings together high-end couture fashion and strives to spread awareness on the importance of conservation and taking care of the environment. Perry is working on the collaborative fashion line with another Motswana based in New Zealand, Cecilia Kang, a brilliant fashion designer known for her quirky and vibrant outfits.
The New Zealand based lass was recently in Botswana for a visit over the festive period, and she expressed optimism that the country is fast catching up on the importance of green sustainability, being environmentally conscious and the need to bolster eco-tourism.
Perry told Vibe that they want to raise awareness on the importance of picking up litter and waste, recycling and keeping the environment clean. She said the aim is to inculcate a culture of 'green-conscious' and sustainable fashion that is eco-friendly and encourages zero waste.
She said that she is eager to finally merge her passion for fashion and modelling with conservation, a topic that is close to her heart as she continues to grow her global profile as an environmentalist of note.
