Thanolo cinches Miss Africa Golden crown
Motswana beauty queen Thanolo Keutlwile was recently crowned the 5th Miss Africa Golden at a glitzy ceremony held in Lagos, Nigeria.
Keutlwile, who is a medical doctor by profession, proved to all and sundry that she has what it takes to give any young model and beauty queen a run for their money as she sashayed the ramp, and impressed with her natural beauty, slender frame, bubbly personality and fine intellect.
She was dressed by local fashion brands Delayna Scott, LT Peculiar,@ND Crotchet, Just Grip Creations and Collections by BK Proctor, among others.
Keutlwile, who juggles being a model with her medical profession, is a Miss Botswana 2021 finalist. She was also selected Best National model in 2019 and Best Model at Fashion without Borders in 2018.
She shared that she was nervous at first but decided to just have fun and pursue her passion. "For a first I was so scared and anxious to even try another pageant but I remembered for the things we love as long as we believe and act, achieving will always be the end goal and all that matters is to put the right energy forward. "A loud inner voice screamed go for it and I chose to trust the process and give it the much needed focus. Along this came a series of sacrifices and shifts of activities. I remain grateful for all the support, love and well wishes!"
