*Ropes in legendary rhumba icon Kofi Olomide as headline act

Celebrated local music star, Charma Gal, will host her one-woman show at the National Stadium in Gaborone on October 29 this year. The show dubbed, Kgosi ya Mosadi, will feature legendary rhumba sensation Kofi Olomide of DRC. This was revealed this week by the company that is spearheading the show, LeashT Entertainment, when rallying music lovers to extend support to the talented singer and performer.

Founder and director of Lesh T Entertainment, Lesego, told Vibe that the show marks the music journey of Charma Gal.

He also noted that part of the proceeds from concert would be donated to the families of the singer's deceased dancers who perished in a car accident on their way from a show in 2016. "We want to use this concert to celebrate the life of Charma Gal and to also pay homage to the dancers she lost; we are still in talks with the respective families."

He said the local line-up is still being worked on but Olomide is a sure feature. " We have been in talks with him since January and he is excited to come to Botswana." The music promoter promised revellers loads of fun and a memorable concert that will showcase the talent of Charma Gal and how she has like wine, gotten better with time to become one of the most sterling music artists of our time.
