Liberty Life Botswana has attained a target of one billion pula assets under its management, over the past 15 years.

The achievement is attributed to clients’ trust, Liberty Life Botswana Board Chair, Calistas Chijoro said.

“We want to assure our clients that we remain committed to safeguarding their finances for generations to come,” said Chijoro recently at the company’s 15th anniversary celebration.

He said the anniversary is a reminder that perseverance and dedication lead to success.

“However, it also reminds us that our journey is far from over. The future holds new challenges and opportunities, and Liberty Life Botswana is ready to embrace them with the same determination and enthusiasm that have brought us this far,” said Chijoro, adding that Liberty Life Botswana is more than insurance provider. “We are a partner in the journey of life for you, our clients,” he added. In addition Chijoro implored Liberty Life Botswana employees and management to remain committed to values and principles.

“Let us continue to innovate, adapt, and strive for excellence, remember that our success is intertwined with the well-being and prosperity of the communities we serve. “Just as a golfer navigates the course, we too have navigated through the changing landscapes of the insurance industry, always aiming for the best outcomes for our clients,” said Chijoro. Established 15 years ago from a small branch, Chijoro said the company has grown to become a leading life insurance provider due to innovation, adaptability, and a passion for serving clients with integrity and compassion.“We have been guided by a commitment to ethical business practices, a dedication to continuous improvement, and a belief in the power of teamwork.” He further urged employees to reflect on the principles that have guided the company over the past 15 years.

“Liberty Life Botswana's success has been built on the foundation of trust and reliability we have established with our clients and partners.” Speaking during the event, Managing Director, Joy Buno, said for over 15 years, Liberty Life Botswana ‘has been steadfast in its commitment to providing both individual and group life insurance solutions that empower our customers to embrace their futures with confidence. We have stood by families during their most trying times, ensuring that they have the financial support and security they need’ Some of the recent milestones include opening up in 2008, launching our Retail Business Distribution in 2015, launching our mobile money platform with Orange Botswana in 2017, Liberator Living Annuity in 2018, releasing the first-to-market savings policy for our business Bolokang in 2021 and opening of our Francistown office in 2022. “In that same year, we made a cautious decision to pay our funeral claims in 4 hours. We have achieved remarkable growth, expanded our product offerings, and extended our reach to serve more communities across Botswana. But, beyond numbers and statistics, it is the lives we have touched and the dreams we have protected that truly define our legacy,”said Buno.
