The African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) will be hosting this year’s ASEA Annual Conference in Nairobi, Kenya at the Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel from 22nd – 24th November, 2023 under the theme, ’Positioning for Growth: Unlocking Africa’s Stock Exchange Potential for Sustained Economic Development’.
According to a statement, the Annual Conference themed ‘Positioning for Growth: Unlocking Africa’s Stock Exchange Potential for Sustained Economic Development’ will bring together industry experts, regulators, thought leaders from the continent and across the globe to address legacy and emerging headwinds facing stock exchanges in Africa. The conference will also place special focus on highlighting opportunities for collaboration to support sustained economic growth on the continent.
ASEA is the Premier Association of Securities Exchanges in Africa that have come together with the aim of developing stock exchanges and providing a platform for networking. The Association’s mission is to engage African capital markets ecosystems in order to foster capital mobilization, promote sustainability and enhance financial inclusion for the benefit of Africa’s economic growth and development. The Chairperson of ASEA, is Botswana Stock Exchange CEO, Thapelo Tsheole.
