Sheperd Aisam from Botswana, who has served as Head of Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) at Stanbic Bank for 6 years, has been appointed Head of Public Sector, Business & Commercial Clients at Standard Bank Group. Aisam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of Botswana and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Strategic Management from the University of Derby. He also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree, specialising in Executive Management, from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
Sheperd first joined Stanbic Bank Botswana as an Account Executive under Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and has since held key critical roles within CIB including serving as Interim Head of Client Coverage in Mauritius. In 2014, he was appointed Head of Client Coverage Botswana, and Head of Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) in 2016, a role he has performed with unrivalled passion as he grew the CIB portfolio to become a leader in the Botswana market.
