BTC launches Business in a Box

Botswana Telecommunications Corporation ‘s Business in a Box is a converged voice and data solutions product that includes using one controller for multiple fixed and mobile solutions. BIB connects with fax phone, tablet, printer and analogue phones among others. Its router is more than just basic as it is an integrated router. The BIB works on three and five-year contracts and its services are activated as per the customer’s request. Its benefits include saving energy because when many components are powered, by default they use a lot of power and BIB uses just a single unit therefore saving costs on electricity. It also eliminates cabling and saves maintenance and repair costs as having too many components supporting the business can become expensive when maintenance has to be carried out. Discussing its features, BTC head of Corporate Communications Tiro Kganela explains that  its business bundle includes voice, data and internet. He says it has high internet speed and Value added services, being wireless and integrated Wi-fi access point among others. “The telecommunications sector continues to offer unprecedented opportunities for economic growth in the market space, and mobile communication services have become an essential part of how economies work and function,” he states.
