Etiquette Brunch on the cards
The Women’s Etiquette Brunch is scheduled to take place on August 18th at the Grand Palm gardens. The annual affair is open to women from all walks of life who wish to polish and learn etiquette while networking and enjoying the best meal of the day “Brunch”.
The event is organised by Michelle Phetlhe, of ESTeRES Boutique Agency.
This year’s exciting topics include Personal Branding and Business Etiquette by Boitswarelo Lebang, Personal Finance by Lorato Akpata, Psychology by Thato Molefe, Women in Journalism by Cathy Malejane and under Health and Wellness Sexology by Dr Elna Rudolph.
According to Phetlhe, the aim of the event is to help us show respect and consideration to others.
“Without proper manners and etiquette, the customs of a polite society would soon disappear. Future plans for the etiquette event are to open its doors and not be gender biased as this is something everyone can benefit from,” she explains.
She further says that every year Etiquette will be the theme, however different topics and speakers will be engaged to ensure diverse aspects of life are represented.
Phetlhe points out that in 2017, speakers' details were shared with the database collected in the morning of the brunch; this year the clever ticket design is a Business Card which has all the speakers contacts; this encourages individuals to touch base on things they spoke about.
Tickets for the event are available from Grand Palm GRO office and directly from Michelle; for more information call 71619565. Partners for this year include Grand Palm, GabzFm, Dark & Lovely, Grainer, Couture Confections, Kelsi Events, Camelot Spa, Fine Brands, Balloon World, Cleanico Flowers. All the attendants can look forward to goodie bags from Always, Durex and more, there will also be spot prizes during the day from Karakele Dry Cleaners and Poise Lingerie.
