IDM holds intercampus games

The 2016 Institute of Development Management (IDM) interclub games will   start tomorrow (Thursday) at the Botswana National Youth Council (BNYC) grounds in Gaborone.

The games are expected to bring together IDM sister campuses, which include Lesotho and Swaziland. The sporting codes expected at the games include football, volleyball, netball and basketball.

According to a statement from IDM the games provide opportunities whereby students can get together, create friendships among others from both campuses. The platform also compels them to tolerate each other and also exchange culture.

Moreover, the games will also allow students to showcase their talents in sport and receive recognition for what they do. The Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) chairperson Solly Reikeletseng is expected to officiate the opening of this year’s event.
