Gilport Lions aim for the 2016/17 beMOBILE Premiership title

BeMOBILE Premiership outfit Gilport Lions started their pre-season training on Monday this week ahead of the new football season, which is likely to start in August.

The Gaborone based team have made their intentions to challenge for the 2016/17 beMOBILE Premiership title clear to everyone.

"Training times are between 09:30am and 11:30am," a statement from the team reads.

"The team is in good spirits as we mount a title challenge for this season's championship."

"Any further news from the club will be communicated as the week progresses and recent pictures of the team in training sessions will be posted online throughout the week."

Lions who recently received a P6 million   three-year sponsorship from Slim holdings finished tenth on the beMOBILE Premiership standings last season.
