VALENTINE’S DAY HORROR

A herdsman in Molepolole discovered a burnt human body whilst looking for cattle in the bush at Ratotoboro ward last Thursday whilst many were celebrating love. The herdsman discovered a heap of burnt circular wires, but upon scrutiny, he realised that burnt human bones were underneath the dark wires. The shocked man ran to the police station to report the incident. Superintendent Lebani Burns said they suspect it is a female body. “It showed that six tyres were used to burn the body, but fortunately the body was covered on the face with a t-shirt and the fire did not affect the face much,” says Burns. He explained that a bright nail polish was discovered on the toe nails, which led him to believe it was a woman’s body. “The body was rushed to Scottish Livingstone Hospital, where it was certified dead and to fully satisfy suspicions that it was of a woman, as it had burnt to the bones,” he said. Supt. Burns explained that although burnt, the body was not decomposed and that there were no footprints on the ground as it had rained before the body was discovered. Police investigations continue.
