Motswagae is the fairest of them all after winning the 2016 Miss Interbanks crown

Botswana Building Society (BBS) employee, Mphoentle Motswagae, was crowned Miss Inter Banks 2016-2017 after beating other 16 contestants   in Gaborone over the weekend.

Motswagae’s confidence, elegance, stage presence and brains saw her chosen as fairest of them all at the   glitzy event. The night saw Motswagae’s confident catwalk skills convince the judges to see her as the favourite.

The queen’s flawless white gown, designed by Lesedi Matlapeng help her towards victory. Nevertheless, all the ladies looked amazing from their angelic swimwear to the evening gowns that were locally designed and looked up to standard.

The pageant that was well organised by the host bank, National Development Bank (NDB) got the crowd in attendance asking for more. Motswagae is the 11th queen since the inception of Miss Inter Banks and she endeavours to promote banking and financial literacy within the society, as well as to empower the girl child in society.

Jennifer Molosiwa of Standard Chattered Bank was crowned the first princess of the night in her beautiful blue dress, while Tuduetso Modise of Bank Of Botswana also impressed the judges to be selected the Second princess of the beauty contest.

Motswagae walked away with P10 000.00 in prize money and a weekend voucher at the glamorous Masa Square Hotel, while first princess got a prize cash of P7000.00 and the second princess was awarded with P5000.00 cash prize. The next Miss Inter Banks is expected to be next year around this time of the year.
