Ministry of Immigration closes five border posts due to flash floods
The Ministry of National Immigration and Gender Affairs this week announced that five Botswana border posts have been temporarily closed due to recurring flash floods that have affected most parts of the country.
The five border posts affected include Mabole where the water level is reported to be very high. There is also Pont Drift were only travellers using cable cars are allowed to cross.
The other three border posts that are temporarily closed because of high water levels are Phitsane Molopo, Tshidilamolomo and Bray. The ministry therefore advises the public to use alternative border post.
