This year marks the seventh year of hosting the tertiary education fair, dubbed ‘Botswana Human Resource Development Skills Fair and career clinics’ this year.

This initiative was launched last week on Tuesday with its new logo that is necessitated by transformation, in order to align the mandate of HRDC with it.   Speaking at the launch, the Acting CEO of HRDC, Patrick Molutsi highlighted that this year’s tertiary fair is even better and bigger. He noted that the new logo is designed in the sense that it is innovative, sustainable, memorable, fresh and unique to influence the society.

The phenomenal brand is based on working together to reaching stars and acquires progress as a team. It is made up of vibrant colours, green, purple and orange, which are all purposeful colours to the young generation. Thus, purple denotes royalty, which is the type of lifestyle that HRDC wishes for the young people.

Green is a colour of life and orange was chosen as a vibrant colour that signifies the vibrancy of today’s generation. On the other hand, this year’s career fair comes in a very transformed manner as it includes career clinics for career guidance purpose.

The fair will kick start on the 14th to the 18th of March this year. The theme of the day is dubbed; “Guidance for Human Resource Development; Gateway towards diversifying Botswana’s Economy”. This career fair has by far attracted over 20 000 students ever since its establishment.
