Gongmaster hates miracle money

Mention miracle money and you will see Mponang 'Gong Master' Ketshabile’s face turn sour. Gongmaster, also known as Tau Ya Koma, hates miracle money and is not afraid to say it out in public. He has even said it on his radio show that the reason people are lazy is because of miracle money. He stated that it is actually people who want quick fixes that are chasing after miracle money.

“Tota gatwe miracle money e ne e ntse e le eng? E tswa ntlha ehe?” he asked, questioning the source of miracle money. He tells The Midweek Sun that one must look for a job and earn a salary which he has agreed with their employer. He says that promotion comes from God and that is when the salary increases. Popular Zimbabwean Prophet Uebert Angel pioneered the concept and demonstrated its power in Botswana in 2012.

His son Prophet Shepherd Bushiri also held a crusade in Botswana six years ago where the likes of Joel Keitumele stood before the multitudes and proclaimed that he had just received P900 from nowhere. Some of the other lucky ones gave testimonies that they too have been blessed with money while others said they had received miracle airtime on their cell phones.

Nonetheless, Gongmaster remains unfazed. He equates miracle money to magic. “Money cannot just come from nowhere!” he says. Miracle money believers are adamant that those who criticize it lack faith in God and are spiritually immature. Could this be the reason Tau Ya Koma detests the blessed money from above? He says that even though he does not go to any church, he is a staunch believer in God and prayer. Contrary to what people say that he is a member of Eloyi Christian Church as he is always playing their music on his show, Gongmaster says he is not. “They just gave me their CDs and I play them,” he says.
