Botswana, North-Carolina Strengthen Trade Relations

Following the Memorandum of Understanding with Botswana in 2015 delegation from the State of North Carolina of the United States visited Botswana to review progress on the implementation and explore further opportunities.

The joint Botswana-North Carolina Cooperation Committee meeting aims to strengthen relations between Botswana and North Carolina. The delegation started their meeting on Wednesday and concluded with a visit to the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Oodi.

The MoU outlined seven priority areas between the two states, which include, trade and investment, education, agriculture, military affairs, public security/police emergency management and transportation.
