FSG Managing Director, Mike Nikolic leaves

Funeral Services Group (FSG) Managing Director, Mike Nikolic has quit the company to pursue other business interests effective Monday. He has been with the company he co-founded for about 26 years. The board of the company, which delisted some few years ago, has confirmed his departure. In the meantime, Chief Finance Officer, Vijayan Narayanan has been appointed as the interim Managing Director and steps have been taken to ensure a smooth transition. “The process of identifying a substantive Managing Director for FSG has begun. This is a process that will be handled with due care and the utmost governance protocols, identifying only the very best for the role, and thus not a process that will be rushed,” said FSG, which is a market leader in funeral services provision. The group controls 65% market share, and with further business interests in Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa, as well as further active exploration of regional markets. In Botswana, FSG has a staff complement of over 385 employees across 20 branches.
