Swedish, Ghantsi councils in progress talks

Ghantsi District Council is currently hosting senior officials of Swedish Ale municipality to check on progress of a partnership the two councils signed three years ago. The partnership, known as Citizen Project is aimed at engaging with the community on formulation, delivery and audit of development activities in the district.

The project, according to the council spokesperson, Phatodi Nacane, is being piloted in New Xade and Qabo. The delegation arrived in Gantsi this Monday. The pilot project will be spread to other parts of the district upon completion in the two villages. The Swedish delegation started their meeting with their local counterparts this Monday.
