Nthebolang wins P4m house in PPC competition
Kgakgamatso Nthebolang, a sales representative at Bradlows Serowe became the first lucky winner of the PPC building dreams house competition this past Thursday beating 24 000 other entrants.
The other two finalists were Malebogo Letsididi and Catherine Mogatle. Nthebolang never imagined she’d win the P4 million house when she bought five bags of cement and entered the competition against her builder’s wishes, who said she didn’t need that much, it was a waste of time.Initially she was to buy three bags because that’s all she needed to fix her kitchen but she bought five because of the competition.
It was a leap of faith because she believed that the house was going to be won by rich people who reside in the city. She entered the competition on the 25th of November last year. She thanked PPC Cement for giving her an investment that she will cherish forever.“My life has drastically changed this house is going to be my source of income from today onwards I may not know how but it is going to, I will never sell it, it is going to be a legacy that even my grandchildren will get to enjoy” said Nthebolang
The other two finalists who said they entered the competition countless times and have even lost count, walked away with 40 bags of cement each. Sales and Marketing Manager at PPC Cement Tuelo Botlhole said that their main objective was to change and improve life of one of their fortunate customers. He said their concept was to have the house with beautiful aesthetics and most importantly safety. The competition attracted 24 000 entries nationwide for the past 11 months.
