Two die in bike crash after Meat Fest
Two people riding a motorbike died along Lobatse-Ramotswa road over the weekend on their return from the meat festival in Lobatse. One of the deceased is related to Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Pelonomi Venson-Moitloi. Meanwhile police have arrested three suspects in two criminal offences of breaking into a motor vehicle last week along Kaunda Road (CID South Traffic lights) in Gaborone.
In one of the incidents, two Botswana males aged 18 were arrested after breaking into a motor vehicle and got away with a handbag containing iphone 6 and other items. The stolen property amounted to over P16 000. The two suspects have been arraigned before court. In another incident a Motswana man aged 32 years was arrested last week in Bontleng after breaking into a motor vehicle and got away with a handbag containing two phones and other properties. The suspect was arrested the same day and the properties stolen were recovered. He appears in court this week.
