Culture Spears lead singer Kabelo Mogwe is “disappointed” and hurt by rumours doing rounds in social media that he is having an affair with Swaggerlady.

“I was not happy with what I saw on facebook and I just don’t know why people are still following my life. It’s best if they were talking about my music not my private life,” said the clearly agitated Kulenyane hit-maker.

He accused Batswana of rumour mongering and sticking their noses in other people’s issues instead of discussing their lives. “Following my divorce with Charmagal I know that people will always think that every woman I work with is my partner,” he said.

Mogwe said he is currently focusing on music and not interested in anything to do with an affair. Sarah Lesole aka Swaggerlady, the Kwaito kwasa queen said she has been working with Mogwe since she joined music.

“Mogwe has been in the music industry for a long time and as an upcoming artist I approached him, and we cooperated well,” said Swaggerlady. She explained that she toured the whole country with Culture Spears during the Independence holidays and festive season. She suspects that since people like to make assumptions, they immediately thought they were an item.

“We are not dating but rather having a partnership in music, nothing more”, she said.
