TAFIC announce P150 000 technical sponsorship

TAFIC sporting club popularly known as the Matjimenyenga this week unveiled a kit sponsorship to the tune of P150 000 during a press conference in Francistown. The sponsorship announcement comes ahead of the crucial encounter between TAFIC and Township Rollers at the Francistown Sports Complex this Sarurday. Speaking before the official unveiling of the team kit, Director of E Volia sportswear Maokaneng Bontshetse reminded those in attendance that his love for TAFIC can be traced back when the team was still hot property in the premier league.

He revealed that when he was still playing for a lower division team known as Blue Birds FC, he scored two goals against Matjimenyenga during one of their encounters only for him to be signed by TAFIC due to his prowess and hard work. “Unfortunately, I did not take a long time at the team as I then went to school and dumped playing football which was by then my first love. Coming back from school, I then formed Tonota FC, which continued to support TAFIC through the supply of very good players,” he said. Bontshetse said he has been the technical sponsor at TAFIC.

He explained his company has grown in leaps and bounds thanks to the marketing indirectly performed by the team and its players. He explained that during his twelve months agreement with the team, he will make it a point that no player dons a tattered jersey or pair of stockings as he will make such replacements on the sport without demanding any payment from the team. As if that was not enough, he applauded long-time supporter for TAFIC Farouk Sada for having been there for the team and giving it his undivided attention.

The away TAFIC jersey will be white with red stripes whilst the home kit will be red with some white stripes as well as an alternative kit which is royal blue in colour with some red stripes. When the players finished parading with their new kit, team players assured supporters and stakeholders that they come to the party during the eagerly anticipated Rollers encounter.
