Mapantsola face tough first hurdle
BTC Premiership side Extension Gunners face off against an on form Jwaneng Galaxy at Lobatse Sports complex tonight. Mapatsola coach Itumeleng Duiker is drowning under his sweat with his game approach and tactics failing to reap positive results for the Lobatse based outfit. Duiker will have to redeem himself against a strong side Jwaneng Galaxy after he was downed by Mochudi Centre Chiefs this past weekend.
The game is a daunting task for Duiker with the team’s spirit down following a poor run of results in the last four games. Duiker is expected to go into the game with a different line-up.Wazah Seleka will be expected to cling on to his midfield duties after he missed their 1-0 loss against Mochudi Centre Chiefs. The pressure seems to be mounting on the coach as he has collected only one point in the last four games.
He sits at the second position from the bottom in the log.It will be a haphazard win if ever for Duiker considering the health of his team after their frantic closed season in the transfer market. However, Galaxy are tipped to walk all over Mapantsola with their artistic style of play, they usually switch the tempo of the game from the very first minute, complimenting their attacks with defensive ability.
Dubula's galaxy of starts produced a thumping win against Black Forest this past weekend.Mike Sithole will be playing catch up after collecting seven points from four games. His troops will be high on confidence to catch up Township Rollers and Orapa United who are both two points adrift. Their main objective will be to easily brush Gunners aside like the feathers of a gull. The leadership of veteran defender Boitumelo Mafoko is expected to pay dividends with the defender proving to be a trusted goal scorer as he sits amongst the league top goal scorers. Terrence Mandaza will also unleash his experience in front of goal.
