Miscellaneous land 1/4m sponsorship deal

Perched at the fifth spot in the beMOBILE Premiership log standings, Serowe-based Miscellaneous Football Club will welcome Gaborone United (GU) this Saturday at Serowe Sport Complex, bolstered by a P250 000 sponsorship deal with insurance giants, Botswana Life.

Having grabbed a point from Satmos FC in the copper-nickel town of Selebi Phikwe in their last game, the team which has game advantage will be supercharged by the sponsorship which will go a long way towards their upkeep.

Botswana Life Marketing and Communications Manager has said that the leadership team of the company, the club and dignitaries from Serowe as well as supporters of the club will attend the game in celebration of the milestone the deal has brought.

The sponsorship deal will run for a year with an option to renew and will run the course of the 2015/2016 season. The insurance company announced that it has identified the team as having great potential to do well in the Premier League and also believes that the sponsorship will give both the players and supporters the morale to take the team to the next level.

The company will this Saturday sign the sponsorship agreement in front of the Serowe community in order to solidify the partnership and demonstrate their whole-hearted commitment as a sponsor. Botswana Life has been in operation in Botswana for 40 years and has over 75 percent of the life insurance market share in the country.
