The day-long event was held under the theme, Pula matsorotsoro, kotla masiela, kotla dirojane. In the morning, revelers played traditional games like mhele, morabaraba and others.
There was traditional food and delicacies galore, from seswaa (pounded beef), serobe (tripe) to ntshe (sweet reed). Drinks, gemere (ginger beer) and bojalwa jwa Setswana (traditional brew) flowed like the River Nile. MC for the day, Comfort ‘Big Fish’ Ramatebele, injected kept the audience in stitches with witty jokes. Solly Sebotho, Mafitlhakgosi and Gongmaster treated revellers to entertainment. While Mafitlhakgosi put on an energetic show in song and dance, one little boy stole the limelight.
The cute gurgling toddler danced in sync to the clapping and proving that he is gearing to be a dancer and Casanova of note. By the time Gongmaster took to the stage, some revelers were well-oiled from the traditional brew with involuntary smiles plastered on their faces. His popular song Socialiser was a hit with the crowd and many gyrated happily to it.
