Lavendro Products launch slated for September

Lavendro Clothing Line will host a cocktail runaway fashion show dubbed Tug of Views in September this year, where the clothing line will vitrine their products to the public and use the event to celebrate the monument of the 3 Chiefs.

In an interview, the founder of the clothing line Kgotso Mpenya said the event would be an act of launch to all the Lavendro products which have taken the fashion world with a storm.

“This event will showcase Lavendro Clothing products to the public, it is also an act of launching all Lavendro products,” he said. Lavendro products range from gym wear, silk jeans, caps, bags, shoes, slacks and underwears all produced locally. ‘We are dearly prepared for an out of the ordinary and well organized fashion show to ever rain on this country’s fashion scenes.

Mpenya said the event erects as a tribute to the monument of the 3 Chiefs. “Ideally, Lavendro wants to use this cocktail fashion show event to celebrate the historic aesthetical features of the 3 chiefs monument through fashion,” he said.

Permanent secretary at the Ministry of Investment Trade and Industry Peggy Serame together with the Mayor of Gaborone Kagiso Thutlwe are expected to grace the fervently awaited Fashion Show.

“Ms. Serame will be appreciated with the golden keys brand award, her pivotal role in growing the brand has been spick-and-span, she was part of the 300 people that graced our exhibition last year and even took part in the official launch at the University of Botswana the same year.
