ATI, Fifi Cooper to headline Serowe "Webechuana" music festival

Serowe will be the place to be this Independence holiday, as Webechuana (Koo-ReTswan’) promises a reminiscent, fun filled day this Friday at My Destiny Gardens.

The sizzling event to be headlined by various artists would be directed by Btv Flava Dome’s Loungo and the famous Rhythm City’s actress Reneilwe. Phafana, the host of the show says that the event will start at 2pm with a poolside braai until late. He says that the event is aimed at re-energising the essence of celebrating independence for the youth. The event started three years before Bots 50 celebrations and it is concentrated in Serowe, as it is the central place of the country. Nonetheless, it was held in Palapye in 2015.

Phafana further said that the attendants should expect nothing but a blissful event, as security would also be tightened. “United Security has always been our partner and it would be present to make sure that everyone celebrates safely,” he said. He also added that there would also be 20 experienced bouncers at the show. The artists that will perform on the day include; LaTimmy, Girly-o-DiBodi, Dlala-Pantsula, aMananDos and Chef Gustos while the DJ’s include; Lady Dee from Maseru, Khenzo (Scratch Master), Phouboy from RB2 Candy Yama from Palapye, to mention a few. The famous Khiri-Khiring’s ATI and Fifi Cooper, Motswako First lady from South Africa and Shimza from South Africa would be the special artists of the event.
