Tlamelo Malebe's music star on the rise

Tlamelo Malebe continues to thrive in the music industry. His dream is to become a well-renowned artiste who can represent Botswana internationally.  The passionate artiste has just released a free mixtape dubbed ‘Ke ratwa ke batho’, whose cover song is ‘Blue Notes’. The mix tape has 14 songs. He has also dropped two singles; ‘Basco’ and ‘Go tla siama’. The 23 year-old Malebe explains that his new mix tape is absolutely free because he wants to explore and improve his music catalogue. I am also receiving offers in terms of features by some established artistes, which reassures me,” says Malebe. He now has two mixtapes and four released single tracks. He can never go by without sending appreciation to his fans. 

His previous two articles enjoy airplay in Duma Fm and Yarona Fm while his music video; Candle Light also made it to Btv. He also highlights that his first mix tape, ‘Watching Success’ was for sale and did very well. “I was selling my first mix tape titled Watching Success and it did very well in sales in comparison to my growing career,” he explains. Malebe considers himself a partially established musician who is dedicated and aspires to be the best. He was awarded the ‘best newcomer’ at the recent Ramotswa Annual Youth Awards.
