Multi-talented Lorraine drops debut single

Lorraine Ditsebe is not a new name in the entertainment circles, she is better known as a model but she one multi-talented lass, who has dropped her first single, You Are The One.

The R&B House song has rich content complemented by her equally moving voice. Ditsebe wrote the song herself and explains that it is a dedication to those who are in love, those who are not confident enough to express their love to their partners and even those who don’t believe in love. “It is a love song dedicated to embrace love and revive confidence in love,” she adds. Ditsebe further explains that the song was inspired by love in general.

“There has always been cases of Domestic Violence in homes, HIV/AIDS stigma, divorce cases as well as those people who always vibe in friend zones to keep worthless friendships. “A lot just happens in the name of love, therefore I decided to narrate this story of love through song.” Ditsebe has had the passion for music since primary school and enjoyed singing in the school choir. She would later join the school band at St Joseph College School where she gained more confidence in music. The 25 year-old says that she started writing songs two year ago. She also highlights that she always got inspiration at home as her family treasures music. The young lady is actually a sister to the gospel artiste, Kabelo Eric. Locally artistes like have inspired her include ATI and Samantha Mogwe, while Lira is her favourite international artiste.

‘You are the One’ was produced by Roy Kasale popularly known as RoyK from Team Distant, while Tshepo Lesole who recorded and mastered it at High Note Studio. The single is already enjoying airplay on local radio stations. Ditsebe says she will drop the video to the single in November and is also working on her first album. She adds that she wants to spread the single as much as possible. “I will share link to the song on my social media pages soon and a few hard copies will be available at music stores in Main Mall.”
